How to Rip Audio CD's 

Rip to mp3, wma, wav and other sound file formats

Concrete DJ rips to all industry standard formats.  MP3 is recommended for general use.

To get ripping, click the ripper button on the Dashboard

Concrete DJ uses the industry standard file naming convention when ripping, artist - title.mp3, where mp3 is the file type and can also be wav, wma or other common formats.

  • Some information like track title and artist name, is entered automatically when your rip CDs. Other info may be entered by you. With Concrete DJ, if you have an active Internet connection, track titles and other information is downloaded automatically. Album art too. You can right-click a sound file on a playlist to edit properties for a track.  Concrete DJ lets you take full advantage of your digital music collection if your library information is correct.

  • The default folder for ripped sound files is C:\My Music Ripped in folders by artist name and album.

For Example:  C:\My Music Ripped\AC DC\Back In Black
