Automatic players
Automatic players play items on their own playlist, one-by-one, from the top down. The top list item is removed automatically when it is done, and play continues with the next item on the list.
Play continues until:
The playlist finishes and the player unloads. If one exists, play continues on the next numerically higher automatic player with items on its playlist.
The Play button is clicked on another automatic or cross-fading player. Clicking Play starts the new player playing and automatically fades out the other player, if one is playing.
Automatic players are the easiest type of player to use. There will always be music playing when launch several automatic players and add songs to their playlists. You can just let then play by themselves, or do a fade by simply clicking the Play button on another player to automatically fade out the current player. This makes automatic players the easiest to DJ with.
An automatic player always plays the item at the top of the list. If you double-click another item on the playlist, while something else is playing on another automatic player, the list item clicked is simply moved to the top of the list. It will be the first to play when that automatic player becomes active. If nothing else is playing, the item is moved to the top of the list and starts playing.
The speed with which a player fades out is determined by the number of fade-out seconds defined for that player. The default is 5 seconds.
