Enjoy Your Music, Your Way
Using Players
Automatic cross-faders are a great way to listen to your music collection
Automates the 2 deck (2 player) cross-fading design used in most DJ software.
Cross-faders
You must have at least 2 automatic players launched, each with items on its own playlist, to use automatic cross-faders.
How they work
Automatic cross-faders work like automatic players except that two players automatically cross-fade back and forth between each other's playlists. The results are buttery smooth cross-fades. This is to be compared with playing items, one-by-one, from the same list, with an automatic player.
Example
Player 1 and Player 2 are a cross-fading pair of automatic players. You can tell because their status LEDs are blue. As a song finishes on Player 1's list, it automatically fades-out smoothly while the next song on Player 2's list fades in.
Using automatic cross-faders
- Add, delete, or drag-and-drop songs on cross-faders just like you with manual and automatic players. You can add to playlists on any type of player, even cross-faders, while playing.
- With Concrete DJ's automatic cross-faders, you can cross-fade like the pro's but the computer does the real work. The result is a buttery smooth cross-fade every time, automatically. Automatic cross-faders can also be faded with other automatic players by clicking the Play button on another player.
Note
- Short sound files cannot be used with automatic cross-faders as there is not enough length to fade-in and out.
